Our story is not about us.

Our story is about you, the small business we work with. You are the hero of our story, and our job at Websum is to make you the hero in your customer’s stories.

After working as an IT Director for a US DoD (Department of Defense) contractor for over twenty years, our CEO Mayur Gudka founded Websum. Yes, he brings a wealth of experience along with him, but more importantly he brings a deep desire and relentless drive to serve you, our customers, so you are positioned as heroes and heroines and your businesses become the greatest stories in your customer’s lives.

Stories are the threads that connect the various phases and moments of our lives. At the end of the day, life is nothing but a collection of stories. So while we are at it, let’s make yours the best possible story we can make.

The Inception Story

One day while eating ice cream with his children, Mayur had a realization. Some businesses are deeply entrenched in our minds, while other businesses selling the exact same products and services are not given a second thought.

Think of it this way. There are probably at least 5 plumbers or dentists or accountants or landscapers in your town or city. Yet, if I were to ask you for a recommendation, there is one who jumps into your mind right away? Why is that? Why not the other four?

Why is it that a handful of businesses have occupied real estate in our minds, and they’re the first business we recall when we think of a certain product or service.

Is this mind-occupation only reserved for big businesses? Can a small, local business occupy real estate in their customer’s minds? If so, how can that be done? How can we change the story of a small business in their customer’s minds?

These thoughts led to the birth of a new company, Websum, with a single objective in mind, helping companies become a First Choice Business in their local markets.
